Albanian is an Indo-European language with two dialects known as Tosk and Gheg. There are around 5.5 million speakers of Albanian found around the world.
Kosovo has two official languages: Albanian and Serbian. Albanian is the more popular of the two with 95% of the population reportedly speaking it.
To say "hello" in Albanian is "Ç'kemi". "How are you?" can be inquired with "Si jeni?" To explain where you are from, you can simply say "Unë jam nga" followed by your place of origin.
Kosovo is home to a variety of minority languages. These include Romani, Serbian, Bosnian, Turkish, and more.
