The city has a population density of 9,649 people per square mile.
Taipei has several tourist sites within the city. Some of the must-see places in the city are the Taipei 101, the tallest building in the city. It has an open-air observation area at the top which offers beautiful scenes. The National Taiwan Museum is the best place to see antiques and information about the Taiwan culture. The Shilin Night Market is another popular destination, especially for those who are wishing to try Taiwanese cuisine.
Taipei experiences different climatic seasons namely spring, summer, and fall. From March to May the weather is warm with temperatures of highs reaching 29.9 degree Celsius with lows of 19.2 degree Celsius. Starting from June to August Taipei experiences summer until fall starts in September. Winter starts from December to February. The city receives 487.6 millimeters of rain throughout the year. Taipei also receives strong winds, with November being the windiest month.
